Summary The Amazon jungle is the world’s largest tropical rainforest and arguably one of the most amazing places on Earth. Who hasn’t seen it in
We still had about one km to drive to our hotel as we noticed something on the horizon when looking out of the car window. I could not believe my eyes. It truly were the pyramids – bigger than I could have imagined. If until then we were not sure whether this wonder of the ancient world really was worth the hype, then now we were speechless. And we had only seen a siluette.
Breathing Underwater. A unique, even somewhat unsettling sensation that remains in your memory when you go diving for the first time. That’s how it was for us when we obtained our Open Water Diver certification in 2019 at a German-led diving school in Hurghada. With the certification in our hands, it became clear to us: we discovered a new passion. To this day, we have completed nearly 100 dives at some of the most beautiful dive sites in the world. Among our top favorites: Egypt and the Red Sea.
Cairo, the city of mesmerizing contrasts. Here modernity dances harmoniously with ancient wonders. Prepare to be captivated by the juxtaposition of towering skyscrapers and timeless pyramids, luxurious boutiques and bustling bazaars, and the grandeur of historical treasures and the simple everyday lives of locals. As we drove towards Cairo we were excited to finally visit this vibrant city. It was our fourth time in Egypt already (we had only been in Hurghada for diving) and it was time to head to this megacity to see the famous world wonder. Step into the beating heart of Egypt and see what Cairo has to offer.
